CURB APPEAL CONSULTING

Engage a licensed Architect to ramp up your home’s curb appeal, freshen up its street front elevation, AND increase your property value. While the primary focus of our practice is new construction and full home remodel projects, we understand not everyone has the bandwidth, budget, or time to undertake a full home project. We love a condensed design study project and a good before and after. We also love helping to keep Austin neighborhoods beautiful; one house at a time.   • Our digital process is a breeze! You send us high-quality photos of the street front view of your house (as well as any relevant inspiration images you’ve collected) and answer some quick questions regarding your goals. We will then send you a quote for our Curb Appeal Consulting Services for your project based on its complexity. If you’d like to move forward we will email you a link for the initial deposit, and add you to our schedule once it is is received.

  • -Our assessment of your home’s current street front (what we think is working and what needs some love)

    -Concept renderings showing our recommendations for the project (at least 2 different scheme options)

    -An imagery page showing our recommendations for materials/ details for the project

    -1-hour zoom meeting with Elizabeth to present all of the above and discuss

    -One round of revisions based on your feedback as needed

    -At the end you will receive an emailed high res digital pdf packet of all of the above (sent once final payment is made) that can be used to communicate your desired improvements to contractors and discuss pricing and next steps towards making them a reality!

  • -Visits to your home (all correspondence takes place digitally)

    -An assessment of the whole property, overall building, or it’s interior spaces. (We are simply assessing how the curb appeal of the property can be improved; typically cosmetically)

    -Scaled architectural drawings (we will be providing exterior renderings and concept images as noted above)

    -Any permit drawings or permit paperwork (not usually required for cosmetic improvements)

    -Obtaining pricing estimates for the proposed work or sourcing the contractors to do the work (this ball is in your court)

    -Specific plant species suggestions (although we may have general conceptual ideas about scale or type of planting that would help enhance the front of the building)

  • -In-depth study of exterior paint colors (creating samples, studying them on site, and compiling recommendations for specific paint brands and colors for the project)

    -Curated one-stop shopping list (list of links to items we recommend purchasing for the project such as new exterior lights, address numbers, mailbox, planters etc.)

    -Visits to the site (to review existing conditions in person or to discuss improvement details with you or your contractor)

    -Assessment of additional sides of the building in addition to the street front

  • 2-4 weeks from when we receive initial payment (depending on current schedule)
